Caxton FX: No more ATM fees from 10th July

Currency exchange firm Caxton FX has announced that as of July 10th, it will scrap ATM fees for those drawing money out abroad using its Caxton FX Global Traveller card.

Holidaymakers jetting off to sunnier climes may be pleased to hear that the firm will cancel all withdrawal and transaction fees for the card.

Managing director of the company James Hickman said that the group has introduced this move as consumer research has shown that ATM fees are unpopular.

He added: "The removal of all ATM fees will certainly help our customers at a time when family budgets are stretched."

Although Caxton FX did not charge its customers fees when directly purchasing items with the card, there was a two-euro charge for withdrawing cash via an ATM.

The company was founded in 2002 and has since become one of Europe's largest foreign exchange organisations. It is regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
