'More benefits offered' through BT Credit Card

The BT Credit Card is now offering its customers more benefits than ever before, it has revealed.

There are now no caps on the amount consumers can save on their BT broadband and telephone bills through everyday use of the card - for every £1.50 they spend, one pence will be deduced from their BT bills.

Also, there is now a zero per cent per annum offer for those who transfer balances during the first 13 months of the account, except for a three per cent handling fee.

It is also offering zero per cent on card purchases for the first three months.

"The original BT Credit Card has proved very popular since it launched two years ago and has been the choice of hundreds of thousands of BT customers," commented John Petter, managing director of consumer services with the firm.

Total revenue at the BT Group reached £21,390 million in the year to March 31st 2009.
