According to the data, which was collated by consumer watchdog Which? Car for its reliability report, the Accord rated highly in a combination of factors, including its electronic systems and breakdown tendencies.
Honda scored particularly highly, as its Jazz model claimed 98 per cent of the vote, along with the Daihatsu Sirion.
Other cars to receive a positive mention include the Hyundai i30 and the Ford Fiesta, although electrics were highlighted as one of the vehicle's problem areas.
Editor of Which? Car Richard Headland explained: "Owning a reliable car can make the difference between getting your summer holiday off to a flying start and sitting on the hard shoulder of the M6."
