Leeds Building Society launches new fixed-rate bonds

Leeds Building Society's fixed-rate bonds portfolio has been expanded this week as it has announced the introduction of two new products.

The packages offer savers up to ten per cent of the initial amount they invest at any time without the need for notice and without incurring a penalty.

Additionally, those who sign up can choose monthly interest payments that offer 3.30 per cent AER for two years, or 3.82 for four years - an ideal option for those requiring a steady income.

"Both these products deliver exactly that and are ideal in any investment portfolio in the short and medium term," said director of sales and marketing Kim Rebecchi.

Last week, the building society introduced another financial package to the UK market - its Five-Year Fixed-Rate ISA - giving Brits the chance to save some cash amid the recession.
