Yorkshire Bank Signature Current Account has 'everything you need'

Yorkshire Bank has announced that its Signature Current Account "provides customers with everything they need".

Gary Lumby, head of retail banking at the organisation, commented that people are looking for more than a simple account these days.

He highlighted the Signature Current Account's breakdown cover, and the insurance offered for ID theft, travel, and mobile phones and gadgets as key factors that offered customers peace of mind.

The account is available for a monthly fee of £10, but Yorkshire Bank claims that the insurance benefits are worth almost £400.

It also says that Signature customers will receive a high rate of interest on their money as surplus credit from their current account is moved across to a linked Signature Savings account.

Research by the organisation released earlier this month showed that one in every 16 people have benefitted from the current economic downturn through lower interest rates and VAT.
