LV= Home Insurance advises against sharing security details

It warned that if you tell someone else your pin number, you will not be reimbursed if that person then steals money from your account using your card.
John O'Roarke, managing director of LV= Home Insurance, strongly urged people to keep their security details to themselves, as doing so can help them keep their accounts as safe as possible and potentially avoid ID fraud.
He said: "It's concerning to see the numbers of card-holders who are so lax with their card details, even if they are sharing them with their friends and family"
New research released by the insurance provider indicates that 34 per cent of the population have been asked to pay for something or take cash out using someone else's card.
Chip and pin was introduced in 2004 and counterfeit and lost and stolen card fraud had fallen by nearly a third by the first half of 2005.
