The new product is available for a limited time from the company's online service and offers customers 4.35 per cent gross interest each year for balances of between £10,000 and £2 million.
Reza Attar-Zadeh, director of savings and investments at the organisation, claimed that customers will have peace of mind when they invest since the bond is backed by a sizeable bank like Santander.
He said: "We are committed to offering customers savings accounts with competitive rates that enable people to save and plan for their futures."
Customers are not able to make any withdrawals until the end of the term of the bond, with the earliest date being October 1st 2011.
Bradford & Bingley recently brought out a two-year fixed-rate ISA that pays 3.5 per cent tax free gross interest and the minimum balance is £1.
