AXA Wealth: Investors must prepare for stock market upturn

Chief executive officer of the organisation Mike Kellard has commented that investors should be presented with a smaller selection of funds to back, with only the best performing products suggested to them.
He claimed that if too many funds are offered then people can decide against investing at all.
Mr Kellard also pointed out that statistics show that there can be up to a 105 per cent difference in the return offered by the top and bottom funds in Europe, which he said makes the decision about which to back more important.
"I believe the UK is poised for a period of significant transformation and growth. There is real potential for a continuation of the stock market bounce but we have to be ready," he added.
Last month, AXA announced that it would be improving its Winterthur single pension product, which means customers will be able to invest across an extended range of funds from within the AXA Group.
