Alliance & Leicester: Cash back for switching accounts

A cash back bonus has been announced by Alliance & Leicester for customers who switch to its Premier Current Account.

Consumers who transfer to the account receive £100, with the deal available for two weeks from 30th November.

The account provides an interest-free overdraft of with no usage fees for the first 12 months, 0.5 per AER/cent gross in-credit interest and free annual travel insurance within Europe.

The deal follows continued interest from individuals keen to sign up to the scheme after the deadline for the previous offer passed.

Helen Palmer, head of current accounts for Santander UK said: "Our recent £100 cash back offer proved to be a hit with customers and we have continued to receive requests from customers looking to switch to our great value Premier Current Account."

Last month, Alliance and Leicester launched a new guaranteed investment product with a guaranteed five per cent gross for the three and three-quarter years Guaranteed Growth Plan.
