Are you suffering from recession strain injury?

The ongoing effects of the global economic downturn are being felt by the wallets of people all over the world.

However, CreditExpert from Experian has noted that monetary concerns are making people feel bad in an array of different ways.

Working with chartered physiotherapist Sammy Margo, the financial services provider has identified recession strain injury, the symptoms of which include shoulder, neck and arm pains.

Lower and mid-back discomfort are also indicators of the affliction, the group noted.

Commenting, Darryl Bowman from CreditExpert said: "Protect yourself from recession strain injury by making positive steps to take control of your finances. Simply putting plans in place could help to reduce tension."

Ways to tackle the condition include deep breathing, reviewing spending habits and taking time to do gentle exercise on a daily basis.

Earlier this month, research from CreditExpert showed that personal trainers have become consumers' confidantes when it comes to talking about money worries.
