Scottish Life corporate pension to encourage employee interest

Clare Thomson, workplace marketing manager at the company, said it was common that employees found it difficult to become interested in their workplace pension plan and also that employers similarly struggled to cultivate this attention.

Talking about the new marketing strategy, she said: "This range of support material is accessible to all, it is bold, lively and jargon free. We have chosen quirky, fun images and bold headlines to stand out."

Advertising paraphernalia such as posters and leaflets will make clear that each pension scheme is tailored to the requirements of the business plan.

The Department for Work and Pensions today (March 16th) announced it would unveil more details about a low-cost pension which will enable potentially millions of low-to-moderate earners to have the opportunity to save for their retirement.
