Legal & General With Profits Bond 'great for cautious investors'

Product strategy director (Savings) at the company Jamie Wright made his comments following the news that the firm is bringing out a new product within the series.
From the beginning of this month, the Capital Control Bond will be available and will offer five and ten-year guarantee options at steady long-term growth rates.
Mr Wright remarked: "There is no requirement for customers to cash in their investment to benefit from the guarantee, which we believe will make this new investment opportunity very attractive to investors."
There is not fixed term for putting money into a Capital Control Bond, but there is a minimum balance of £5,000.
Legal & General announced that the first close of its UK Property Income Fund had been completed and more than £175 million has been raised from subscriptions.
