Santander Reward bank account 'gives customers what they want'

The Santander Reward bank account was designed with customer feedback in mind, according to a spokesperson from the organisation.

Helen Bierton, current account manager at Santander, made her comments as the firm revealed that its half-price deal on the monthly fee for the first three months is only available until May 2nd.

She described how the financial services provider has been able to "tick all the boxes" with this bank account, since it offers useful benefits and value for money.

Some of the perks that come with this account - which is £5 per month on the half-price arrangement - include travel insurance worth £150 and zero per cent interest on the first £100 of any overdraft agreed.

"We designed the Reward bank account around what customers told us they would want from a packaged account," added Ms Bierton.

Earlier this month, Santander brought out a new range of guaranteed investment products, which ensure that individuals receive at least a certain amount of return from their capital.
