Zurich highlights increased investor confidence

Investor confidence appears to be on the up, a Zurich representative has claimed, which is why the company has decided to extend the funds available to its customers.

Mark Peters, investment proposition manager for Zurich UK Life, explained that the firm regularly reviews the range of funds being offered to investors and some important growth sectors have been identified.

Zurich has extended the choice for clients of its life, pensions and mutual fund products, which includes individuals signed up to the Sterling Investment Bond and Sterling Investment Account and Isa.

"All the market indicators point towards increased investor confidence and to meet this need, we have focused on enhancing our fund range to strengthen our offering," noted Mr Peters.

The firm highlighted First State Global Listed Infrastructure as an example of one of the more specialist funds that is now on offer.

This week, Zurich also announced the launch of its Technology and Telecommunications insurance product, which is aimed at providing cover against indemnity risks.
