Santander Flexible Isa available to existing customers

Santander Flexible Isas are still available to the company's banking customers, it has been announced.

The product, which has a rate of 3.2 per cent interest on savings, is being carried on for those who have their main bank account with the company, or those who open a new account and switch to them.

Available with a minimum opening balance of just £1, the account allows savers to instantly access their cash at any time without a penalty, which can provide peace of mind to those who quickly need additional funds.

Reza Attar-Zadeh, director of savings and investments, said: "This latest offering cements our continued approach of rewarding loyalty and that the more business you do with us, the more we will offer you in return."

The institution released the product last month with Alliance and Leicester to meet the demand that it had experienced from customers looking for a new Isa.
