Barclays Wealth UK Super Tracker 'benefits from small rises in FTSE'

Investors can see their capital grow from small increments of growth in the FTSE by putting their money into the Barclays Wealth UK Super Tracker, according to the organisation.

Lisa Chaudhuri, vice-president of the firm, made her comments after the financial product was reissued and described it as "ideal" for getting significant returns from such economic activity.

She pointed out that individuals will receive their capital back on maturity, as long as there has not been a significant fall in the financial index over the three or five-year term.

The Barclays Wealth UK Super Tracker offers 1.5 times the first 18 per cent rise up to a maximum of 27 per cent and three times the first 20 per cent rise up to a maximum of 60 per cent for the three and five-year products respectively.

Ms Chaudhuri explained: "With a change in the political landscape on the horizon investors are continuing to look for attractive returns in potentially low growth markets."

A new product launched recently by the firm is the six-year FTSE Returns Plan, which guarantees the return of capital on maturity.
