Aviva Driveaway motor insurance 'developed for Generation Now'

People who do not enjoy waiting before hopping behind the wheel of a new car may appreciate Aviva Driveaway motor insurance, a company spokesperson has suggested.

Nigel Bartram, motoring expert at the firm, made his remarks after research by Aviva showed that 81 per cent of British people become frustrated if they pay for something and are not allowed to use it straight away.

He explained that Aviva Driveaway motor insurance has proven to be very popular, since it offers people a week's free cover and means drivers can get in their car straight from the showroom or dealer.

"By making a simple activation call, we'll send a cover note to a motor dealer and provide the customer with a quotation for twelve months' insurance for after the free seven-day period has expired," noted Mr Bartram.

The insurance provider recently unveiled a new add-on to its travel policies, which offers cover in case of exceptional circumstances including terrorist threats and volcanic ash cloud disruption.
