Zero charging credit card a must for holidaymakers, says Saga

According to the company, this could potentially make a big difference to a person's finances.
However, it alleged that some credit card providers have been "fleecing" their customers and making them pay over the odds for making transactions in other countries.
As a result, Saga believes its new Saga Platinum card could be an essential item for anyone travelling abroad this year.
"We want our customers to enjoy themselves on holiday, without having to worry about any extra costs they might incur when using their credit card abroad," said Andrew Goodsell, executive chairman of Saga Group.
Figures from the company show that people aged over 50 spent about £4 billion on their credit cards in other countries last year.
Saga believes that if these people had been on cards with no overseas transaction fees, they could have collectively saved more than £100 million.
This comes after Moneyfacts said it is worth taking a credit card on holiday in case of an emergency.
