Kwik-Fit Insurance Services 'delighted to become a part of Fortis'

The deal is still subject to regulatory approval, but managing director of Kwik-Fit Insurance Services Brendan Devine has lauded the possibilities the arrangement will allow both firms to explore.
He described the sale of the insurance provider for £215 million as being a "great strategic fit".
"Kwik-Fit Insurance Services has seen profitable growth over recent years and being part of the Fortis group will allow us to continue on this journey," Mr Devine remarked.
The deal is expected to go through by the end of the third quarter of this year, with chief executive of Fortis Barry Smith stating that the acquisition will bring several powerful brands to the organisation's portfolio.
Last month, Fortis announced the opening off a second office in Tollgate, Chandlers Ford, which Mr Smith labelled a "fantastic home" for the firm's employees.
