Co-operative Financial Services banking lauds NEIW

The National Ethical Investment Week (NEIW) offers a great opportunity to showcase responsible financial activity, according to a spokesperson for Co-operative Financial Services banking.

Chief operating officer of the company Tim Franklin made his remarks on the day that the firm was announced as one of the sponsors of the event, along with Ecclesiastical Investment Management.

He explained that consumers can be offered new options to help tackle some of the most pressing challenges that the world is facing.

In his view, this can be done with the help of financial organisations and NEIW will allow people to see this.

Mr Franklin said: "In the current climate, there is a groundswell of interest from consumers, businesses and others in the need for ethical and responsible finance and investment."

Earlier this year, NEIW experts identified Smile and Fair Investment Company as two of the best platforms in terms of ethical and green stocks and shares Isas.
