Sainsburys Insurance urges motorists to concentrate

Ben Tyte, car insurance manager at the firm, claimed that people who drive regularly may be especially susceptible to becoming distracted and letting their attention wander away from what is happening on the road.
His comments were made after Sainsburys Insurance revealed that 64 per cent of motorists have engaged in a potentially dangerous habit, such as driving without a seatbelt, according to its research.
"Often confident drivers can step over the line and drive in a manner that can endanger themselves and other road users," added Mr Tyte.
He observed that certain actions that may appear simple can significantly increase the likelihood of an accident occurring.
Last month, the firm revealed that consumers in the UK may be losing up £163 million by not haggling when they purchase a new car.
