Customers can pick and choose between ten different additional features with the echoice policy to create a package that is ideal for them.
These options include breakdown coverage, emergency car and in-car entertainment, with the majority of extras being available to add on at any time during the life of the policy.
As the new policy is based online, motorists with the policy can access it to make changes without needing to contact an operator by phone.
Keith Maxwell, head of car insurance at RSA, commented: "RSA echoice is all about empowering the customer to take complete control of their insurance."
Business owners who hold a policy with the group were recently reminded of the importance of taking steps to avoid power out problems that could result in damage to a fridge or freeze and potentially cause them to loose business.
