New Principality Building Society product 'does not just offer competitive Isa rates'

Customers can benefit from strong Isa rates and complete access to funds with Principality Building Society's new savings proposition, according to a representative from the organisation.

Head of strategy and e-channels at the institution Julie Ann Haines claimed personal budgets are being stretched at the moment, so it is vital that people have money set aside as a safety net.

In her view, the e-Isa Issue 2, with its 2.8 per cent interest rate, provides an opportunity for individuals to build up their savings without having to lock away their funds over a long period of time.

"With the new e-Isa Issue 2, customers can draw comfort in knowing that their money is both protected from the tax man and easily accessible should their circumstances change," she explained.

This month, Principality Building Society announced that it was raising money for victims of the Pakistan floods, with collection boxes set up at all 51 of the company's branches.
