Leeds Building Society lauds high interest savings account

A high interest savings account provided by Leeds Building Society has been lauded by a representative of the firm.

Sales and marketing director Kim Rebecchi claimed the London Instant Access Savings Account has exceeded the company's expectations in terms of its popularity.

It offers customers 2.55 per cent interest on their investment, with Leeds Building Society announcing that it has extended the availability of this product.

Ms Rebecchi stressed there are no "catches" and suggested it compares favourably to other propositions on the market.

"The new Metro Bank opened amidst much fanfare, however their savings portfolio has nothing that can match our London Instant Access Account," she remarked.

In her view, the product would be beneficial to anybody's savings strategy, going as far as saying that it is "essential".

The same Leeds Building Society spokesperson recently heaped praise on the company's Fixed Rate Postal Bond as a means for consumers to get a good return on their savings.
