HSBC wants to prepare employees for retirement calculator legislation

This is according to head of Workplace Retirement Services at the company Rob Pearce, who pledged the organisation will continue to listen to its clients regarding the issue.
He noted that many businesses may see the compulsory administration of a pension as a "burden", but he suggested that keeping things simple will allow them to go through with the changes efficiently.
"With substantial regulatory changes on the horizon for retirement saving in the workplace, HSBC ... aims to play a major role in preparing employees for their future retirement," said Mr Pearce.
Workplace Retirement Services is a new business launched by the brand to target the group pensions market with contract-based personal and stakeholder products.
This week, Standard Life called on the government to reassess the way the benefits system is affected by a person's private savings, in order to support the implementation of the new pension reforms.
