Yorkshire Bank praised for offering offset mortgages

Your Mortgage magazine named the firm best regional lender for the 12th time and editor in chief of the publication Paula Johns was full of praise for the company.
"Yorkshire Bank was among the first lenders in the UK to offer fully flexible mortgages, the benefits of which have really become apparent since the credit crunch struck," she said.
In her opinion, consumers are offered additional convenience by being able to sign up for offset and current account mortgages.
Yorkshire Bank head of retail banking Steve Fletcher responded to the news by saying that his team were very proud to have won the prize.
The firm's sister organisation Clydesdale Bank was handed the award for best mortgage lender in Scotland and retail director of the institution Steve Reid said he is committed to keeping the company at the top of their game.
