Higher LTV remortgage deals offered by N&P

Norwich and Peterborough Building Society (N&P) has revealed that it has increased the loan to value (LTV) figure on some of its mortgage arrangements.

Richard Barker, product manager for mortgages at the company, pointed out that remortgage customers stand to benefit from the alterations, as well as first-time buyers.

The LTV level on the N&P two-year discounted variable rate mortgage has been increased from 75 per cent to 85 per cent, with the interest staying the same at 2.59 per cent.

Mr Barker noted that this deal is one of many that have benefited from the changes, adding: "These new higher LTVs across a broad selection of our variable rate mortgages mean that a greater number of people will be able to access these good deals."

Last month, N&P announced that it has entered into an 'introducer' partnership with Aviva, with the arrangement due to begin on March 16th 2011 and see a representative from the latter organisation based at branches of the former.
