Just Retirement pensions calculator aid unveiled

The facility, which was launched on Wednesday (February 23rd), could see thousands more people receiving higher pension income, according to Stephen Lowe, director at the company.
Research by Just Retirement suggests up to three in five individuals in the UK could benefit from an enhanced annuity, but just one in six currently do.
"Hundreds of thousands of retirees are missing out each year on the opportunity to secure higher levels of income from their pension savings," claimed Mr Lowe.
Consumers who utilise the Just Retirement service will be required to go through a short telephone interview with a medical professional.
Last week, the firm announced its financial results for the quarter and half-year leading up to the end of December 2010, with sales seeing year-on-year growth of 7.4 per cent and 11 per cent respectively.
