Co-operative lender increases distribution of fixed rate mortgage deal

Platform, the intermediary lender of the Co-operative bank, has increased the distribution of its two-year fixed rate buy to let mortgage deal.

Four new providers will now offer the 4.79 per cent product to prospective homeowners at a maximum of 70 per cent loan to value.

The deal will now be available through the Openwork, PTFS, Mortgage Club and PMS mortgage lenders.

Customers are still able to select the product through the L&G network, Connells and Countrywide.

Free standard legal fees are available on the deal for remortgages with a 1.5 per cent arrangement fee for customers.

Business development manager at Platform Lee Gladwell said: "The extension of the products distribution clearly demonstrates Platform's commitment to both the buy to let market and intermediary partners."

Platform offers a wide range of mortgages for prospective buyers from Mainstream to buy to let deals.

Launched in 2003, the lender was created from subsidiaries of Britannia.
