Yorkshire Building Society announces fee reduction on new mortgage deals

Yorkshire Building Society has announced plans to make reductions on product fees for new deals.

The mortgage provider has vowed to ensure prospective purchasers will not pay in excess of £995 in fees when selecting a suitable deal.

Aiming to offer a product range to suit everyone, the rate reduction has been carried out to continue the building society's commitment to customers.

The lender is also offering low fee products to customers with a slightly increased rate in order to provide the best deal possible.

Mortgage product manager Alice Leslie said: "We believe this reduction in fees will help all of our customers and will continue to do our best to offer customers choice so they can pick the option that best meets their needs."

Yorkshire Building Society recently launched a fixed rate mortgage with an application fee of £95 across a range of deals - including a two year fixed rate at 3.49 per cent.
