Platform announces plans to increase mortgage distribution

Intermediary mortgage lender Platform has announced plans to increase the distribution of two of its tracker mortgages across a number of other companies.

The products will be available to members of a range of lenders including Countrywide, Legal & General and Paradigm.

Potential homeowners could be interested in a two-year mortgage at a rate of 2.69 per cent, available at 70 per cent loan to value.

Platform has also included its four-year tracker product, with 70 per cent loan to value at a rate of 2.99 per cent.

Remortgage customers are entitled to free valuation, along with free standard legal fees as part of the deals.

Business development director at Platform Lee Gladwell said: "Our aim is to support brokers as much as possible and this extension will allow them to offer a more complete range of Platform products to their customers."

The Co-operative recently announced the launch of Public Service Mutuals, a scheme to offer advice to businesses wanting to deliver a different style of public service.
