Kensington launches new tracker mortgage range

The mortgage company has announced plans to launch a number of capped tracker deals, starting at 3.14 per cent, with a 4.79 per cent limit.
Particularly suited to first-time buyers, initial rates for 80 per cent loan-to-value two-year deals are 4.09 per cent with a 5.74 per cent cap.
Kensington took action to extend its mortgage products after feedback from customers highlighted concern over potential increases to the Bank of England base rate.
Charles Morley, head of sales at the firm, said: "Our focus on competitive pricing and innovative products aligned to our principles of responsible, sustainable and intelligent lending is a further step in our aim to become the intermediary lender of choice."
Kensington aims to provide suitable mortgage products for people who may not have been successful with other lenders.
The company deals with regulated mortgage advisors in a bid to offer guidance to different types of customers.
