Norwich Union Pensions: 18 new funds added

Norwich Union Pensions has announced that it has added 18 new funds to its existing personal and group pension range.

More investment opportunities are now available in a larger number of funds from Barclays Global Investor (BGI), Gartmore, Schroders, Investec, Jupiter and Norwich Union.

The additional Norwich Union Pensions will be available to both new and existing customers hoping to benefit from a wider range of pension funds.

Iain Oliver, head of pensions at Norwich Union, said: "Adding these funds shows our continued commitment to expand the investment opportunities for customers."

Mr Oliver added that Norwich Union Pensions were particularly exited about Norwich Union's Manager of Managers funds after they performed well since launch in 2005.

Norwich Union Pensions widened range of investment propositions comes as the government prepares to announce eagerly awaited proposals on pension reform on Thursday.
