Consumers get access to Halifax Legal Solutions

Halifax Legal Solutions has been launched to give consumers access to a new range of services ranging from will writing to divorce advice.

While the AA has launched a similar service, it is believed that Halifax Legal Solutions is the first product of its kind unveiled by a high street financial services provider.

To get access to Halifax Legal Solutions, consumers pay an annual subscription of £89 that gives them direct access to a dedicated phone service and a host of online features.

Manned by a team of solicitors, barristers and other professionals, the phone line allows consumers instant access to legal advice and gives them the opportunity to discuss issues with a qualified legal advisor.

Alternatively, subscribers to Halifax Legal Solutions can log onto the group's website and access a plethora of easy-to-use step-by-step guides, covering topics as diverse as writing a will or preparing a tenancy agreement.

According to Halifax Legal Solutions, everybody needs to access legal advice at some point in their life, with the firm claiming that consumers "could save hundreds of pounds with Halifax Legal Solutions."
