New Halifax credit card has dual 0% offer

Halifax has launched a new All-in-One card, with a zero per cent introductory offer on balance transfers and purchases.

It describes the card as "ideal" for those who want to transfer a balance and carry on using their cards for spending, without incurring any interest.

The credit card features zero per cent for ten months on balance transfers and new purchases, although customers will be charged a three per cent balance transfer fee.

Its typical APR is 15.9 per cent variable and the card comes with cover against online fraud for internet purchases.

Ken Stannard, head of Halifax card services, said: "Whether you want to reduce the cost of your spending, reduce the cost of outstanding debt through a balance transfer, or both, with its zero per cent for ten months introductory offer the Halifax All-in-One card is ideal."

Research released by Fool.co.uk last week revealed that credit cards account for 32 per cent of all spending in the UK.
