AA extends credit cards promotion

A zero per cent credit card deal launched by the AA through moneysupermarket.com has been extended to more price comparison sites.

Consumers who successfully apply for the credit card through BeatThatQuote.com, MoneyExpert, and Compare and Save will now receive the zero per cent arrangement along with those who apply through moneysupermarket.com.

The offer lasts for the first ten months on all retail spending, including fuel and motoring costs.

In addition, customers receive zero per cent on balance transfers for the first 12 months.

Mark Huggins, director of AA Financial Services, said: "This makes the already-excellent AA credit card even better while its top-drawer points system is twice as good if you are an AA member."

The AA has also recently warned its insurance customers to be careful when filling in their application forms, as the number of motorists who are being stopped by the police for being uninsured has increased recently.
