Moneyquest mortgage tarts welcomed by MD

Steve Pollard, the managing director of Moneyquest, has spoken out in the defence of so-called "rate tarts".

These tarts are just simply people shrewd enough to change investment vehicles in order to save on monthly repayments, reports the Edinburgh Evening News.

And Mr Pollard said that these people "are good" for Moneyquest as they make "money through procuration feeds paid by lenders".

He added that it was also good for lenders, who benefit as they are constantly receiving new customers.

Customers in return benefit from lower repayments, as well as the fact that lenders will look to give them better deals to stay with them.

Moneyquest mortgages offer customers good-value mortgage offers from the UK's top lenders.
