John Charcol three-year tracker offset launched

John Charcol has announced it is launching a new three-year tracker offset mortgage, with a rate of 0.19 per cent plus the Bank of England (BoE) base rate.

The maximum loan-to-value (LTV) available stands at 85 per cent, while the maximum amount a customer can borrow is £5 million.

Furthermore, there are free legal fees for customers borrowing the John Charcol three-year tracker offset mortgage, while the arrangement fee stands at £499.

Ofsett mortgages allow borrowers to use their savings account to reduce mortgage payments.

Ray Boulger of John Charcol, said: "Getting maximum value from offsetting is about convenience of using the facilities as well as a market leading rate.

He concluded: "This mortgage is even better as, unlike many offset mortgages, it allows borrowers to link a current account to their mortgage as well as one or more savings accounts."
