The move was decided after Bank of Ireland transferred Bristol & West's branch network and savings and investments business over to Britannia.
Now mortgages will be available under the titles Bristol & West Mortgages, Bank of Ireland Mortgages, Giraffe and alburaq, which is the Islamic home finance range.
Alison Pallett of Bristol & West Mortgages said: "This is a tremendous opportunity to develop a business that aims to mirror the success and market share we already experience under our highly successful mortgage intermediary businesses."
Bristol & West has also announced it will be embarking on a nationwide advertising campaign for its remortgage range.
