AXA Group Pensions expands

AXA has announced that its Group Pensions is expanding and has recruited Nick Smith as business development manager.

Mr Smith has said he is excited to be working for AXA Group Pensions.

He added: "I am very much looking forward to the challenge of helping AXA attract, as well as retain, a larger share of the market."

In the past Mr Smith has worked for Friends Provident and Prudential as well as other large organisations.

Mr Smith's new boss, Mark Rowland, concluded: "AXA enjoyed considerable success over the last couple of years and this is part of our controlled growth strategy to attract proven and experienced specialists into Corporate Benefit Solutions, the dedicated unit within AXA focusing on Group Defined Contribution".
