Nottingham Ten-Year Fixed-Rate mortgage unveiled

A Nottingham Ten-Year Fixed-Rate mortgage has been launched today, with a rate of 4.79 per cent.

Valuation on all properties worth less than £500,000 will be offered free and arrangement fees can be deducted from the loan upon completion, product website Mortgage Introducer reports.

Overpayments of up to ten per cent each year are allowed and borrowers who take the offer up for remortgaging will be offered free legal advice.

If the mortgage loan is repaid or rearranged during the ten-year fixed period, early repayment charges equal to six months' interest will apply.

Chris Parker, business development controller at Nottingham, commented: "This is a good deal for anyone looking to fix for the long-term. We are expecting this attractively priced product, which is portable, to prove very popular."

The Nottingham Ten-Year Fixed-Rate mortgage is available at up to 95 per cent loan to value and can be purchased through both branches and intermediaries.
