John Charcol Offset Exclusive Tracker mortgage an option this Easter

The Easter period is a popular time to turn one's attention to housing matters, according to John Charcol, and one of the potential deals currently on the market is the John Charcol Offset Exclusive mortgage.

This offer has a 4.59 per cent interest rate and will track at 0.09 per cent above the Bank of England base rate until July 1st 2009.

John Charcol also publicised details of a number of other deals, such as a Britannia Three-Year Fixed-Rate mortgage with an interest rate of 4.49 per cent and a Woolwich Ten-Year Fixed-Rate deal at a rate of 4.78 per cent.

Both of these offers calculate interest on a daily basis and have lender fees of £499 and £495 respectively.

The John Charcol Offset Exclusive mortgage has a lender fee of 0.25 per cent of the loan amount and has a minimum loan amount of £500,000.

"There are currently some fantastic mortgage deals available, particularly for those homeowners with larger loans," said Drew Wotherspoon of John Charcol.

"However, good products are not just limited to large loans, with some great lifetime trackers and offsets currently on the market for any loan size."

A full list of the current deals considered by John Charcol can be found on its website.
