Hibernian Home Insurance customers to get free mail minder service

The new service is designed to decrease the chances of being the victim of a burglary by not allowing post to build up, often a sign that the homeowner is away on holiday.
Mail delivery will be suspended during a specified period applied for by customers five working days in advance.
Pat Kenny, product manager for home and travel at Hibernian, said: "One simple step which customers can take to protect their home if they are going to be away is to avoid letting post build up on the doormat which is a clear indication to burglars that the house in unoccupied."
Hibernian also offers motor motorcycle and travel insurance products as well as pension and life cover.
