Leeds 2-year fixed rate mortgage is 'market leader'

Leeds Building Society has launched a new market leading Leeds 2-year fixed rate mortgage designed to give customers peace of mind over their repayments.

At only 5.25 per cent the Leeds 2-year fixed rate mortgage allows unlimited capital repayments at any time without penalty.

Furthermore, for customers who need help with fees, the building society has launched a fee free Leeds 2-year fixed rate mortgage at 5.75 per cent.

Stuart Fearn, product development manager at Leeds Building Society, said that with the majority of economists expecting the Bank of England to raise interest rates to five per cent in November, many customers are looking to guarantee their monthly payments and protect themselves against any rise.

He said the Leeds 2-year fixed rate mortgage will allow them to do this, while also permitting unlimited capital repayments at any time, combining flexibility with peace of mind.

"We have created this product with a fee free option to ensure that customers with less funds available for fees can still benefit from all the advantages provided by fixing payments," he added.
