Yorkshire Building Society: New mortgage range launched

Yorkshire Building Society has announced the launch of a new range of mortgages which it hopes will attract customers who wish to avoid up front costs.

The building society is halving the product fees on the new range of mortgages, charge interest rates starting from 3.59 per cent.

It will also offer customers £250 cashback when they sign up for one of the new packages, while those looking to remortgage can choose free valuation and legal fees or the £250 cashback offer.

Chris Edwards, head of mortgages and savings at Yorkshire Building Society, said: "With high mortgage product fees still very prevalent in the marketplace, this new offer should prove very attractive for customers looking for a competitive mortgage deal without a big upfront cost."

Yorkshire Building Society was founded in 1864 and now has more than 1.9 million members in the UK.
