The website offers step by step advice to customers thinking of investing and underlines the benefits attached to seeking professional help when considering making an investment.
On the site customers are given access to specific scenarios that can relate to their individual circumstances, a jargon buster designed to make complex terminology understandable and a what's on offer section.
Speaking about the launch, Simon Quick, director of marketing at Norwich Union, remarked: "[Customers] understand that they need to take action but are afraid of making the wrong decision; that's why there is increasing demand for information that is simple to understand. Customers are wary of making important decisions themselves and unsure where to go for advice.
Mr Quick went on to state that in the coming months, the website aims to add other features "such as pensions, annuities, protection, equity release and healthcare".
Norwich Union is the largest insurer in the UK with a market share of around 14 per cent.
