Leeds Building Society five-year fixed-rate bond 'a unique product'

The new Leeds Building Society five-year fixed-rate bond has been described as a unique product by a representative from the firm.

Kim Rebecchi, sales and marketing director at the organisation, explained that it was designed after looking at the features of other products currently on the market.

The Leeds Building Society five-year fixed-rate bond offers a guaranteed return of 3.5 per cent, as well as generous access to the capital invested.

"This bond offers an excellent rate combined with the flexibility of unlimited access to half of the funds at any time, without notice or penalty," noted Ms Rebecchi.

Customers should note that the product is a branch-based finance tool, with the Leeds Building Society spokesperson suggesting that it offers a significantly higher rate of interest than many other instant access accounts.

This week, Leeds Building Society also launched the five-year fixed-rate mortgage, which offers customers a £1,000 cashback reward on completion.
