Among the discounts they can expect to receive by signing up to the account are money off transactions with Amazon, McDonalds, Superdrug and JJB Sports.
There are also 40 free music downloads for students to enjoy when they sign up for the product - to be redeemed at eMusic - as well as a LAVA mini speaker.
According to Lloyds TSB, the account is aimed at supporting "customers throughout their studies, offering them the tools to help them stay in control of their finances, alongside benefits that will help them make the most of their money."
Earlier this year, the firm announced that it had reduced its overdraft fees - a change that will come into effect on December 2nd 2010 - and created a £10 interest-free 'buffer zone'.
