Cahoot personal loan rate slashed

The cahoot personal loan rate has been slashed, making it what the company says is one of the lowest rates currently available.

It now stands at 5.8 per cent, down from 6.2 per cent.

For loans of between £5,000 and £20,000, a typical APR rate of 5.8 per cent is offered, while for loans of between £2,000 and £4,999 the typical rate is 8.9 per cent.

The cahoot personal loan rate comes with no set-up fees and no deposit to pay, and also features minimal early redemption penalties.

Martin Peterlechner, head of cahoot, commented: "Whether it is to consolidate other debts by having one convenient, low-cost payment, or to finance the holiday of a lifetime, there has never been a cheaper time to borrow from cahoot.

"With minimal redemption penalties and a simple online application, cahoot gives great value for money and a great online service."
