Post Office over-50s life cover now available

The first of a range of life products to be launched by the provider, the over-50s cover offers a competitive assured sum of £1,294 on premiums of £7 a month.
Customers can pay a maximum of £50 a month and will receive a free gift after their third monthly payment.
Phil Ashkuri, director of insurance at the Post Office, said that the offering is easy to apply for and guarantees acceptance.
"We also offer our customers more comprehensive cover than some of the leading plans on the market by paying out the full sum assured after just 12 months," he added.
Last month, the Post Office warned that almost half of holidaymakers are risking the loss of hundreds of pounds by ignoring the importance of travel insurance.
